Typically used to brace wall plates and roof trusses to brickwork/blockwork. Fixed into masonry to transfer wind and other forces from walls to roof structures and vice-versa. The number of fixings should be in accordance with the design requirements and the lowest fixing should be within 150mm of thebottom of the strap. Edge coated galvanised flat steel to BS2989.
