These zinc and yellow passivated woodscrews are hardened and lubricated with a single thread and pozi drive. Due to the strength a smaller gauge can be used than with twin thread woodscrews which prevents splitting and gives greater retention. Also known as chipboard screws these screws are extensively used in shop and bar fitting and joinery manufacture trades. Yellow passivated woodscrews are also suitable for use with plastic or nylon plugs for securing to masonry.
