An effective and economical way of providing strong, mechanical joints for framing of timbers. Ideal for trimming where structural forces have to be transmitted such as trap hatches, chimney trimming, purlin fixing or joining any two pieces of timber together. The unique bending slot allows instant and accurate onsite bending for all 2 and 3 way ties. Pre-galvanised mild steel to BS EN 10142 DX51D Z275. Fasten with 30 x 3.75mm sheradised square twist nails in all available nail holes. Use in pairs to avoid rotational effect on the joined timber.
